Christine “Livy” Livingston

Christine Livingston “Livy”, owner of Livingston Physical Therapy, has been practicing physical therapy since 1997. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Miami University in 1995. She then received her Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University in 1997. Initially Livy was employed at JFK Medical Center in Edison where she rotated between outpatient, acute care, brain trauma and rehab settings. She was then employed at Hudson Physical Therapy where she practiced outpatient orthopedics for 7 years and managed 2 clinics in Clifton and Hoboken.
Livy continued her career as a private practice owner in NJ for 6 years. In September of 2012 Livy opened Livingston Physical Therapy in Little Silver where she provides quality one-on-one physical therapy to a variety of patients. Livy has completed numerous continuing education classes. She is also an A.C.E. certified personal trainer and a certified Tai Chi instructor with the Arthritis Foundation. Livy is an avid runner and has completed 6 full marathons. She loves to share her passions of health and fitness with all her clients.
Livy has completed Level 1 and Level 2 certifications through the School of Applied Functional Medicine. Livy loves to surround herself with like-minded individuals and business colleagues who inspire her and share her love for thriving and healing the body through multiple modalities. It is Livy’s passion to spread her knowledge and help every client become the best versions of themselves.
Tara Horton

Tara Horton, DPT, has been treating patients for over 13 years with a passion for helping them regain function and live pain-free. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in 2005 before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Columbia University in 2011. She spent eight years practicing in New York City before returning to New Jersey.
With a strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-operative recovery, spinal conditions, and prenatal and postpartum care, Tara takes a comprehensive, individualized approach to treatment. She places a special emphasis on posture and core strengthening, working closely with each patient to develop customized programs that reduce pain, restore function, and fit seamlessly into their lifestyle and goals.
Passionate about problem-solving and patient care, Tara enjoys the challenge of evaluating each case and designing treatment strategies that are both effective and practical. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need for long-term wellness.
Outside of the clinic, she loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their family dog. She enjoys beach days, hiking, and traveling whenever possible.
